At first the presence of the Shadow in Fortitude wasn’t noticed by many, instead, their
numbers grow slowly, but their identity was kept hidden. How they came into being no one
is entirely sure. The Shadow have continued their secretive ways and specialise in all
manner of deceptions and illusions. Their ability to blend in with the environment and
to attack with their target unawares has meant they have often been employed as assassins
or resorted to thievery when employment was scarce. As well as their roguish skills the
Shadow can turn their hand to combat or magic if they so desire.
